Note 3: The "Other/Target Institution" is an institution that failed during 2010. The respective "Applicant Institution" is the competitive bidding winner to purchase certain assets and assume the liabilities to pay certain deposits of the "Other/Target Institution." The FDIC's Board of Directors found that immediate action was necessary, and, therefore, the publication of notice and solicitation of reports on the competitive factors were not required. Thus, there is no "Department of Justice Reply Date," nor an "Application Number."

If the "Applicant Institution" is a non FDIC-supervised financial institution, the Primary Federal Regulator processed that merger application, and that application is not included in the FDIC's annual merger report.
