September 28-29, 2023

The FDIC's Center for Financial Research is proud to host the annual Bank Research Conference, a gathering of academics, industry representatives and policymakers committed to the principle that policy should be informed by research.

The Bank Research Conference promotes topics related to the banking industry and the FDIC's essential mission to maintain stability and public confidence in the nation's financial system. Today, this conference has become a premier and highly competitive forum for bank research, attracting hundreds of submissions from authors of papers and posters on a multitude of topics.

The conference is at full capacity and registration is closed.

The two day in-person only event will be held for all confirmed registrants in the FDIC Bair Auditorium at 3501 Fairfax Drive in Arlington, Virginia. This year's conference will feature research papers, a fast track session, and poster sessions on issues related to the performance and regulation of the financial sector.
