Affordable Mortgage Lending Guide

Part III: Federal Home Loan Banks

The Affordable Mortgage Lending Guide, Part III: Federal Home Loan Banks focuses on the products and services offered by the Federal Home Loan Banks. Since each FHLB has different products and services, we provide general information on Affordable Housing and Community Investment Programs, Advances, the Mortgage Partnership Finance® Program, and the Mortgage Purchase Program that can facilitate mortgage lending by insured depository institutions. Many of these products can be used in conjunction with other federal and government-sponsored enterprise programs, as well as State Housing Finance Agency programs.
