Subject: Community Reinvestment -- RIN 3064-AC50

To Whom It May Concern:
I have worked for more than ten years to assist low- and moderate-income people access safe, decent affordable housing.

The Community Reinvestment Act is vital to making sure that capital flows into areas that banks traditionally have ignored or that are not as profitable as more wealthy areas. Private partnerships provided by banks and other financial institutions are vital for housing and community development in low- and moderate-income neighborhoods.

If the new rule is passed low- and moderate income communities across the country will feel its impact. This proposal will especially hurt rural areas, and leave some states with no CRA-covered institutions.

Please do not approve this rule in its proposed form.
