Dear Mr. Feldman:

I am very concerned about the recent proposal that would weaken the Community Reinvestment Act. This act should be strengthened, not weakened. The good that CDFI's have been able to accomplish has been palpable in several communities in which I've lived.

Please withdraw the rule proposal weakening the participation requirements for banks in the CRA. This participation is too important to do without, and there is no reason not to expect mid-sized banks to give back to the communities that provide them with their business.
