Dear FDIC,

I oppose the FDIC's proposal to allow banks with assets above $250 million to be examined as small banks under the Community Reinvestment Act. This policy would reduce lending, investments and services in low-income communities. Families and communities across the United States are already being financially squeezed by rising rents and a decrease in the availability of housing. This policy will further exacerbate an existing and growing problem, pushing more and more families and communities into extreme poverty and driving communities to suffer from other problems associated with unaffordable housing, such as poor health outcomes.
