Thank you for taking this time to try to reduce some of the regulatory burden placed on small community banks. For the small banks to be faced with the same expenses for regulations as the very large banks does not make for wise reasoning. The ratio of expenses to footings becomes much larger the smaller a bank is. To raise this threshold to $1 billion seems to be a practical option.
