Subject: Save the Community Reinvestment Act

Dear FDIC,

Mr. Feldman:
I oppose the FDIC's proposal to to allow banks with assests above $250 million to be examined as small banks under the Community Reinvestment Act. This policy would reduce lending , investments and service in low-income communities.

Only 4% of FDIC-regulted banks would face a full CRA exam. This change would harm low and moderate income communities and leave some sttes with no banks subject to a full CRA exam.

Your rule proposal flies directly in the face of this requirement. It would harm my community, the quality of my life and tens of thousands of Americans like me. I urge you in the strongest possible terms to drop this hurtful rule proposal.
