Federal Deposit Insurance Commission

Dear Federal Deposit Insurance Commission:

I agree with the National Congress for Community Economic Development that the proposed proposed change in the comprehensive CRA exam would be devastating for affordable housing and community development investment throughout the nation, particularly in rural areas. In Louisiana alone, we understand that with this change ONLY FOUR depository institutions would still be covered by the three-part CRA exam. This could leave low- and moderate-income Louisianians out in the cold when it comes to vital investments and services that CRA has supported.

Please rescind your proposal.

Sincerely,
Lucinda A. Flowers
