To whom it may concern,

I oppose the FDIC's proposal to allow banks with assets above $250 million
to be examined as small banks under the Community Reinvestment Act. This
policy would reduce lending, investments and services in low-income
communities. THE CRA has had a positive impact on poor communities and
communities of color especially in urban areas. It is possible that lending patterns
would become more discriminatory if fewer banks were subject to the thorough
review.

Thank you.
