I oppose the FDIC's proposal to allow banks with assets above $250 million to be examined as small banks under the Community Reinvestment Act. Enforcement of the CRA has led to increased opportunities for affordable housing. As we are facing an affordable housing crisis, I do not believe that this is the right time to stop strict enforcement of CRA regulations.
