Subject: Community Reinvestment -- RIN 3064-AC50

I strongly oppose the FDIC's proposal to allow banks with assets above $250 million to be examined as small banks under the Community Reinvestment Act. The CRA act has fostered a partnership that has benefitted both low income communities and financial institutions. The consolidation of lending institutions makes ever more important the participation of the remaining community-based banks in this essential partnetrship. The proposed policy change would reduce lending, investments and services in low-income communities and should be withdrawn. Thans you for the opportunity to comment on this matter.
