Subject: Community Reinvestment -- RIN 3064-AC50

I am writing to register my opposition to the FDIC's proposal to allow banks
with assets above $250 million to be examined as small banks under the
Community Reinvestment Act. I am currently working to preserve affordable
housing and link low-income residents to new job opportunities in our
neighborhood. Yesterday, I met with representatives from a lending
institution who is interested in investing in the community to meet CRA
requirements. The FDIC's proposal would exclude this bank from CRA, and I
am convinced that the proposal would reduce the lending, investments and
services in our community.
