The Community Reinvestment Act is a critical component to Florida’s affordable housing and community development solutions. The realm of CRA activities is still not being effectively addressed and by increasing the threshold, there will be an increase in the un-met needs of the community! I oppose any increase to the threshold of what is considered to be a small bank. The proposed FDIC rule would exempt many (actually, the majority) of our community’s critical partners from the effective and productive requirements currently in place. I urge the FDIC to withdraw its proposed rule.
