Subject: CRA - Community Reinvestment Act -

To Whom It May Concern:

The following quote from the New York Times actually gives you an idea of my feelings on what you are proposing do do.
You are not acting in the best interest of the people of the United States, please change your regulations to be fair, don't undermine the CRA. Don't let Americans down like this, during these difficult and changing times we live in.

People are watching what you are doing and how you did it and it was not done with honesty.

Banks should not be allowed to jettison community reinvestment responsibilities ... in the quest for profit. If these new regulations are allowed to stand ... Communities could eventually find themselves back in the dark ages of redlining and financial isolation. New York Times August 21, 2004
