Subject: IOLTA accounts; "RIN # 3064-AD37"

I am writing to urge Congress that expand TLPG to provide full coverage to IOLTA accounts, regardless of the amount.  IOLTA generated income is an extraordinarily important source of support for non-profit organizations, such as the Florida Immigrant Advocacy Group, a legal advocacy group for indigent immigrants and refugees.  As chairman of the board of FIAC, I know first hand that the loss of IOLTA generated income – which we receive through grants from the Florida Bar Foundation -- would have a devastating impact on our budget and our ability to provide assistance to immigrants and refugees.  That is all the more true in today’s economic climate which makes raising private funds more difficult than ever.
