Dear Mr. Feldman:

We strongly support the FDIC proposal to increase the threshold for the streamlined small bank CRA examination to $1 billion. This would be a good step forward in the often promised, but seldom delivered, reduction of regulatory burden on small banks.

We are in a city of 1968 population and are looking for people to borrow money. We understand that Community banks like us would still be evaluated by the regulators to insure that we are meeting the credit needs of our community.
