Dear Mr. Feldman,

Mr. Feldman, as the Community Reinvestment Officer for The Bank & Trust, s.s.b. I would like to express my support for the proposed revisions to the Community Reinvestment Act — 12 CFR part 345.

Raising the asset size threshold for the "small bank" classification to $1 billion would allow our small bank with three branches to let us continue in serving our communities without further and unnecessary burden on our staff. Our branches are located in three Texas counties that are under 50,000 population, therefore by the revision passing, it would affect us in a positive manner.

Visiting with other small bankers in small community banks, I have received positive comments
about the revision.
