Small rural communities compete for every advantage, financial or otherwise, in their courageous effort to attain economic and community development sustainability. We depend on our local lenders who know our communities and understand what we are trying to do. Whenever we lose positive options, i.e. the proposed changes in the availability of CRA lending institutions, our rural counties actually grieve the loss.
