Subject: Community Reinvestment -- RIN 3064-AC50

I am writing to oppose the proposed change in the definition of exempt institutions under the Community Reinvestment Act. Institutions with assets under $1 billion provide important community investment support in many rural communities and small states. They are also important investors in urban and metropolitan areas. Please don't abandon the rural communities or reduce the commitment to urban areas. We can't afford to water down the CRA this way. Isn't it obvious how it has aided communities across the country? Not only are lenders putting money into communities, they are making a profit doing it! It isn't broken, why change it!
