Subject: Community Reinvestment -- RIN 3064-AC50

As the executive director of a nonprofit housing advocacy organization, I know that the only time financial institutions show interest in our work is when they need to catch up some CRA points. If you reduce the number of financial institutions that need to comply with CRA requirements, we will probably be ignored even more. Our work directly benefits mortgage lenders and indirectly benefits the housing conditions in the communities served by banks, but they do not notice us except when they are trying to merge or otherwise expand. We definitely see the need to continue the requirements! Beth McKee-Huger, Greensboro Housing Coalition, Greensboro NC
