Subject: Community Reinvestment -- RIN 3064-AC50

This proposed law should be scrapped.

It is regressive, unnecessary and mean spirited.

It will take the legal onus off of most financial institutions in the country to do anything to help their low- and middle-income customers: without a legal obligation to follow a kinder, gentler lending strategy loans to these groups will taper off to a minimum over the next few years.

Reconsider this proposal before it becomes law.
