In recognition of America Saves Week, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) is hosting an annual San Diego Bank On Forum to increase banking relationships and promote the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, San Diego Saves, and Bank On certified accounts. The event will focus on providing a pathway to economic inclusion through access to safe and affordable financial services, as well as fostering collaboration opportunities to maximize bankable moments during the VITA season. Presenters will share information on volunteering opportunities for financial institutions. Attendees will learn about collaboration opportunities to support and partner with VITA sites through the Bank On and San Diego Saves initiatives.
