FDIC and HUD Present Building Assets through Homeownership in Iowa and Nebraska

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) will host a webinar to support equitable homeownership opportunities in rural, underserved, and low– and moderate-income communities. The event will feature innovative strategies and best practices to build assets through homeownership and outline other successful affordable housing strategies in the states of Iowa and Nebraska. A banker leadership panel will discuss current and projected homeownership trends. Community development organizations will highlight their work in support of affordable housing and discuss homebuyer education and housing counseling opportunities.
