FDIC Hosts Financial Stability through Home Ownership in Texas

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) will host a webinar to increase access to affordable housing credit alternatives and services for low- and moderate-income households in south Texas. The event will broaden opportunities for partnerships between financial institutions, government agencies, and community based organizations. Panelists from federal and state agencies and local community organizations will share resources for affordable housing programs and identify opportunities to expand or initiate affordable mortgage lending. Stakeholders will discuss ways to expand outreach efforts and provide borrowers a pathway to homeownership.
