The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), and Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond (FRB-Richmond) will host a webinar on Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) and Home Sharing as a way to maintain wealth in Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) communities. Representatives from county agencies, nonprofits, and banks will discuss how to engage stakeholders interested in building ADUs; representatives from national and local nonprofits will discuss home sharing opportunities throughout the region; and bank regulators will discuss how banks can provide support and resources for ADUs and home sharing that may receive positive Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) consideration.
