The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) will host a webinar to discuss the challenges returning citizens face when applying for bank accounts and employment in South Carolina. Presenters will discuss misconceptions and share actual experiences of returning citizens who are seeking banking and employment services. Participants will learn about the FDIC’s free financial literacy program, the processes and requirements for obtaining bank accounts and credit products, and the affordable bank accounts made available by Bank On Charleston’s member financial institutions.
