FDIC Advisory Committee on Economic Inclusion to Meet Next Week
WASHINGTON - The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) Advisory Committee on Economic Inclusion (ComE-IN) will meet on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, to discuss updates from Committee members about key challenges facing their communities and organizations. Panel presentations will discuss enhancing deposit insurance awareness, insights from our research about Volunteer Income Tax Assistance providers, and increasing affordable housing in Native American communities. Read the full agenda, which is subject to change. Any changes to the agenda will be announced at the beginning of the meeting.
The FDIC also announced that it appointed two new members of the ComE-IN:
Edward DeMarco, President, Housing Policy Council, Washington, D.C.
Leigh Phillips, President and CEO, SaverLife, Washington, D.C.

ComE-IN was established by the FDIC Board of Directors in November 2006 to provide the agency with advice and recommendations on important initiatives to expand access to banking services for underserved populations.
