The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) will host a webinar in observance of Veteran and Military Families Month to discuss various ways Veterans can protect themselves from Identity Theft. The FTC reports that veterans and active duty service members have reported over 175,000 cases of fraud.
The Money Smart for Adults financial education curriculum can help individuals better protect themselves from Identity Theft. Participants will enhance their practical knowledge and learn about resources to help manage their finances with confidence. Instructors can also use the resources to deliver unbiased and relevant financial education whether they are new or experienced trainers.
