FDIC and U.S. Department of the Treasury Co-Host SSBCI US Virgin Islands Stakeholder Forum

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and the U.S. Department of the Treasury will cohost a forum about the US Virgin Islands State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI). During this forum, presenters will provide an overview of thebUS Virgin Islands SSBCI programs and funding deployment strategy, technical assistance and lenders reporting, and lessons learned from using the SSBCI program to improve access to capital in underserved communities. Presenters will also discuss how local community development financial institutions (CDFIs) and other community-based organizations identify and provide services to clients, including loans, and how attendees can make referrals to, or partner with, to serve US Virgin Islands small businesses.
