FDIC Hosts Forum to Promote Nebraska Veteran Owned Small Business Growth, Development, and Success

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) will host a forum that will outline small business lending products, resources, and promising practices. The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), the Nebraska Business Development Corporation (NBDC), and banks will share an overview of how to help veterans access affordable credit and capital to establish and continue the success of veteran-owned small businesses in Nebraska. This forum will also help financial institutions identify small business lending activities that may receive Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) consideration. The forum will provide information about veteran small business resources, new collaborative efforts, and innovative best practices that can be implemented to foster veteran small business success.
