FDIC, FRB-SF, and OCC Host SoCal Bankers CRA Roundtable: Leveraging Special Purpose Credit Programs to Reach Underserved Markets

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco (FRB-SF), and Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) will host the SoCal Bankers Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Roundtable: Leveraging Special Purpose Credit Programs (SPCPs). This event aims to inspire other financial institutions to explore opportunities to develop a SPCP by demonstrating how other financial institutions developed special purpose lending programs to increase access to capital for underserved small businesses, or tailored mortgage loan programs to increase homeownership rates within underserved communities. The event will include information on how the SPCPs were launched and structured, as well as lessons learned.
