FDIC Hosts Louisiana AEI Fourth Quarter Meeting to Support Affordable Housing Programs in Louisiana

The FDIC and the Louisiana Alliance for Economic Inclusion (AEI) will host a forum to discuss the roles affordable housing and tax assistance play in improving financial stability. With homeownership being a substantial contributor to building assets, affordability is a key factor in helping low- and moderate-income households create wealth. Speakers from Habitat for Humanity of Greater Baton Rouge and Capital Area United Way will highlight how their work with homeownership programs and Volunteer Income Tax Assistance strengthens the communities they serve.
