FDIC Hosts Webinar to Promote the Availability of Small-Dollar Loan programs in San Diego, California

In recognition of National Hispanic Heritage Month, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) is hosting a virtual workshop to promote the availability of small-dollar loans for small business owners, including businesses owned by low- and moderate-income (LMI) residents and Hispanics in San Diego. The event will collectively address barriers and gaps in serving Hispanics and increase trust in the banking system through collaborations with technical assistance providers and lenders. The event will explore small-dollar loan products offered by banks and community development financial institutions and discuss strategies and partnerships for expanding access to small-dollar loans.
