Join the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), The U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago on September 19, 2024 to help remove barriers, bridge gaps, and make connections through collaborations among government, foundations, Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs), and banks in Michigan.

This convening will bring together developers, federal, state, and local government, financial institutions, foundations, and other stakeholders to share promising approaches. Panelists will share examples of real estate developments that overcame obstacles and resulted in increased housing and community development, including in Michigan's low- and moderate-income communities. Bankers will see examples of direct lending and investing in CDFI loan funds.

Participants will leave with practical and actionable strategies for building lasting lending relationships. These approaches are designed to be immediately implemented in your work, empowering you to make a tangible difference in your community and support the crucial role you play in the real estate and community development sector.
