The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), Bank On Maryland (BoM), and CASH Campaign of Maryland will host a webinar to encourage financial institutions to expand account access for the unbanked residents of Maryland. Presenters will share insights about deposit account access and will discuss successful collaborations and local initiatives that increase access and points of entry to offer affordable accounts. Presenters will also discuss FDIC deposit insurance and whether financial applications such as Chime and Cash App are FDIC-insured.
