Consumer Research Symposium

2024 Consumer Research Symposium Logo

The Consumer Research Symposium, hosted by the FDIC’s Division of Depositor and Consumer Protection, facilitates a discussion of the newest research in consumer finance among academics, financial regulators, and the private sector.

The 12th Symposium was held on March 15, 2024 at the FDIC L. William Seidman Center in Arlington, Virginia. The event featured a Distinguished Guest Lecture by Professor Annamaria Lusardi of Stanford University: “The Importance of Financial Literacy.” The 2024 Program includes links to selected materials including paper drafts and presentation slides. A video recording of the event is also available in the Symposium Archives.
