Subject: Community Reinvestment 12 CFR Part 345

As a practitioner in the affordable housing arena for over 30 years, I am seriously concerned about the proposed changes to Community Reinvestment 12 CFR Part 345. Because of CRA requirements, banks participation in communities and neighborhoods grew enormously from the early '70's. This proposed policy change would set us back to those times and would most surely reduce lending, investments, and services in lower income communities.
