Subject: Opposition to Community Reinvestment Act changes

I am opposed to the FDIC's proposal to allow banks with assets of $250 million to be examined as small banks under the Community Reinvestment Act. This policy will only discourage lending, investments, and services in areas such as my New York State Assembly District, which represents many lower-income people who are seeking to become first-time homebuyers.

Thank you
