Subject: Community REinvestment Act

It has been brought to my attention that this requirement for local banks is in jeopardy. I am the Executive Director for a Community Development Company in the lowest income, most diverse (30 languages) highest crime neighborhood in the City of St. Paul. The Community Reinvestment requirement is the perfect reason for the local banks to contribute to our
organization. In the past t 10 years, We have build 70 new homes and lent funds for home rehab to over 250 homeowners. We are essential to the health of the housing in the area and need the investment that the banks make. This really helps a neighborhood like ours. I may not happen if it is not required. Please keep the requirement for the sake of communities like ours throughout the nation. Thank You Kris Graham 651-848-2026 The Greater Frogtown Community Development Corporation
