Subject: Community Reinvestment -- RIN 3064-AC50

I strongly object to any weakening of the CRA as proposed by the FDIC. This 3-decades long policy has been invaluable in tieing bank expansion to their performance in serving their ENTIRE service areas.

As one who is very involve in the redevelopment of our cities, I am inspired by banks' motivation to meet CRA criteria that show they are good community citizens. All the banks I know see CRA as a normal part of doing business and are accustomed to conforming to it. I would never want to rely on so-called "voluntary compiance" in place of CRA!

Please do not weaken CRA!
