RE: RIN 3064-AC50

Gentlemen:

I strongly oppose the proposed rule changing the Community Reinvestment Act. I live in a rural community that has problems with affordable housing. To change this rule by "upping" the limits for eligibility for CRA would do great damage to low-middle income homebuyers and entrenpreneurs. Rural areas would have no real protection against whatever practices banks wish to use. CRA was begun to protect those unable to get credit and banking services just because of where they lived. Should this rule change, rural areas and their occupants will again be at the mercy of whatever banks wish to do as, with the proposed limits, virtually no banks would be under CRA. Please do not adopt this rule.

Sincerely,

Sandra Julifs
