Subject: Community Reinvestment -- RIN 3064-AC50

I work for an economic development consulting firm specialized in bringing
businesses and investment to inner city neighborhoods. In my field, the CRA
is regarded as one of the most effective pieces of legislation in helping
these communities acquire much needed financial resources. I oppose the
FDIC's proposal to allow banks with assets above $250 million to be examined
as small banks under the Community Reinvestment Act. This policy would
reduce lending, investments and services in low-income communities.
