Subject: Community Reinvestment -- RIN 3064-AC50
Importance: High

I oppose the FDIC’s proposal to allow banks with assets above $250 million to be examined as small banks under the Community Reinvestment Act. This policy would reduce lending, investments and services in low-income communities. Further, this would disenfranchise low-income people to become homeowners in the very communities they live in. To purposely enact any law that would limit the ability of low-income people to more forward economically is will serious undermine the spirit of the Community Reinvestment Act.
