I oppose the FDIC's proposal to allow banks with assets above $250 million to be examined as small banks under the Community Reinvestment Act. This policy would reduce lending, investments and services in low-income communities.

For 2 years, I was the executive director of a non-profit working to revitalize a targeted area on Milwaukee's near south side. Since then, I have gone back to school to pursue my PhD in Urban Studies. I can personally attest to the importance of the CRA. Please give this matter your serious consideration. thanks
