Subject: SPAM::RIN 3064-AC50 No to proposed change in CRA

To Whom it May Concern:

I oppose the proposed change in FDIC rules to allow banks with assets above $250 million (and under $1 billion) to be examined as small banks under the Community Reinvestment Act. This policy will reduce lending in the very communities which most need investment and services related to housing, etc.

Security in our nation requires attention to basic human needs. Let us not foolishly weaken programs which strengthen our communities. We must maintain the values our nation used to consider important, such as shelter and basic services for all citizens.

Please do not implement this proposed change in CRA!

Sincerely,
M. Johanna Rickl
