I oppose the FDIC’s proposal to allow those banks with assets above $250 million to considered or examined as small banks under the Community Reinvestment Act. CRA is critical to local housing and community revitalization activities. The lending institutions seem to handle the current mandates well therefore there is no reason to relax the regulations.
