For some years now, The Community Reinvestment Act has served as a critical piece of our nation's affordable housing and community development solutions. I now see that the administration proposes to increase the threshold of what is considered to be a small bank. This would have a deleterious effect by removing many of the community's critical partners from the effective and productive requirements presently in place. I oppose any increase to the threshold of what it is to be considered a small bank and I urge the FDIC to withdraw this proposed rule.
