Subject: Community Reinvestment -- RIN 3064-AC50

As the current President of a small nonprofit community development corporation I am acutely aware that the pool of funds available to small urban communities such as my own here in New Britain, Ct. has constricted dramatically in the past four years. There various reasons for this constriction but the revision currently under consideration will, I believe complement the unfortunate reduction in available funds, just at the point were several small communiyties such as New Britain have adjusted to the current reduction in financial resources. The move to allow banks with assets under 1 billion (down to 250 Million) will further reduce the financial resource pool for redevelopment projects in communities such as my own. Please reject the proposal regarding the examination of banking practices under the Community Reinvestment Act's provisions.
