FDIC and OCC Host Harnessing Local Leadership to Empower Community-Based Organizations through CRA in Montgomery

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) will host an event to help community-based organizations (CBOs), and other non-profits understand the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and how it can help support their community economic development and economic inclusion work.  The event aims to help attendees foster a shared understanding and coordinated approach collaborating with banks to meet the credit and convenience needs of low- and moderate-income (LMI) individuals and communities. Presenters will provide an overview of CRA and share best practices when collaborating with banks.
